It has taken a major illness for me to learn this.
It’s been hard to accept that I’m not in a position to take care of and help myself, and asking for help is not easy but without the help of my friends and family I wouldn’t be able to cope.
What’s even more important is that I’ve learned how blessed I am to have friends and family who I can ask for help because I know that there are many people who have no one.
Let your pig be your security blanket. [Just don’t give the pig money for gambling.]
Every cartoon you do refreshes my spirit. I’m so grateful to have found your blog.

Greetings from Panama City, Central America.
I have the hardest time with this! I am always glad to help others but rarely want to let them help me- I don’t want to put them out.
How would it feel if they wouldn’t let you help them when you wanted to, granted they actually wanted help? Just a thought.
I would feel badly that I couldn’t (or wasn’t allowed to ) help- you are right.
I love your drawing Penny!
Thanks Peter! LOVE your photography!
Great drawings and my favorite animal. :)
These are so adorable! Do you do the writing by hand too?
Thanks so much! Yeah I do :)
finally someone has said it. THEY WANT TOOOOOOO!
They want to.
