August 25, 2017 – Update

Hello my friends. It is a difficult decision to make, but at the end of 2017 the Motivating Giraffe will be embarking on an indefinite hiatus. I love this group and I will always love this group, but running this and continually trying to think of new ideas and responding to messages is leaving me less time to spend on the other important things in my life. This isn’t goodbye yet, and I will endeavour to continue posting until the end of the year 😊

I am putting one final calendar together which will be up for pre-order in the next week or so, but I also have a few hundred copies of my first two coffee table books that I’m hoping to sell (otherwise I’m not sure what I will do with them LOL). I’ve put the price down to $15 including shipping in Australia, and $24AUD including shipping for overseas orders. These prices are pretty much just covering printing and shipping costs at this point (it costs $18AUD just to ship them overseas eurghhh). My rad newest book still has a few copies left too, with a bonus misspelling of my own name on the spine.

So if you’d like to pick up some discounted MG stuff for Christmas presents (or just for yourself) before it’s all gone, here’s your chance! It has been so much fun putting these books together and I hope you’ve had as much fun as I have along the way:

Talk to you all soon. You’re the greatest and good things are coming.

  1. Penny;
    Thanks for everything I have loved on your site. (I can relate to trying to juggle too many chores and still generate fresh ideas). Good luck in the next phase.

  2. I’ll miss Motivating Giraffe while on hiatus, but I always knew he had adventures ahead of him, mountains to climb, rivers to cross. I look forward to your new direction and hope it is a joyful one for you.

  3. I’ll be so sorry to see Motivating Giraffe go. But thank you for all the pleasure and inspiration you have given us so generously over so many years.

    I do wish you all the very best in your future.
