Sorry, I know you thought you’d gotten rid of me but I wanted to keep you updated!
While I should have been working on a research project, I’ve spent the last couple of days excitedly looking at different options for a Motivating Giraffe coffee table book. In the goodbye thread on Reddit, a couple of you suggested Kickstarter as a way to fund the project which, after some research, seems like a fantastic idea.
The great thing about Kickstarter is that it is all or nothing – if you make a pledge but the project doesn’t raise enough funds, you aren’t committed in any way.

Oh my God, I’m so happy for you. :) I will be contributing on Friday. Just one thing – Have you considered postal costs? I’m in Ireland and I don’t want to pay you $40 and for you to have to pay half of that in postal costs.
Thanks so much :)! I’ve worked out that it will cost around $15 to ship internationally. The place that I’m looking at printing with can do it for around $6-7 a unit, so each $40 donation will still be able to pay for 3-4 books. So I’m hoping it will all work out okay!
OK, thanks. Just be careful you don’t sell yourself short, lady! I bet people would be happy to pay shipping on top. I know I would.

I would love to have a couple of copies for Christmas presents. Would this be possible, or should I contact you directly for further information?
